In the beginning of 2018, the division name was changed and I started in a senior role. Engineering related tasks are as described below (see ’15 – ’18 period). Developed and built a new type of gas heater switchbox. The device has a thermostat function and many options for setting different time schedules. The user interface consists of a graphic LCD screen and a custom membrane button foil. Worked on electronics- and product design, project management and software development.

Developed a speed- and direction controllable piezo motor driver, used in scanning tunneling microscopes; worked on analog circuit design.

Designed and built a handheld, rechargeable device with an intuitive user interface to measure temperatures. This device can transfer its data (via WiFi or GPRS) to Leiderdorp Instruments's webserver where customers can log in and view, plot or export the data.

Member of the board, leader of a sea scouts subgroup and sailing instructor of children between 10 - 14. VaDeDo is the 2nd largest scouting group in South- Holland (200+ active youth members, ages 5 – 17). I have learned a lot about leading, coaching and motivating the youth members and my leadership team, as well as liaising with members’ parents. Every summer holiday we organise a sailing camp for the children.
